AC UnInstallation & Installation Service
Assessment and Consultation:
- The process begins with an assessment of the current air conditioning system and the installation area. A technician evaluates factors such as the size of the room, existing ductwork, electrical connections, and any specific requirements or preferences you may have.
- Based on this assessment, the technician provides consultation regarding the best type of AC unit for your needs, considering factors like energy efficiency, cooling capacity, and budget.
Uninstallation:
- Before uninstallation begins, the technician turns off the power supply to the AC unit and disconnects it from the electrical circuit.
- If the AC unit is a split system, the indoor unit is detached from the wall or ceiling, and the outdoor unit is disconnected from its mounting brackets.
- For window or portable AC units, the technician removes the unit from the window or its current location and disconnects it from the power source.
- Care is taken to avoid damage to the surrounding area during the removal process.
- Once the unit is detached, the technician may assist with disposal or relocation if needed.
Preparation for Installation:
- After the old unit is removed, the technician prepares the installation area. This may involve cleaning the mounting surface, repairing any damage, or making adjustments to accommodate the new unit.
- If necessary, modifications to the electrical wiring or ductwork are made to ensure compatibility with the new AC unit.
- For split systems, refrigerant lines and drain pipes are routed to connect the indoor and outdoor units.
Installation:
- The new AC unit is carefully positioned and secured in place, whether it’s a window unit, portable unit, or a split system.
- If it’s a split system, the indoor unit is mounted on the wall or ceiling, and the outdoor unit is installed in a suitable location outside the building.
- The technician connects the refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and drain pipes according to manufacturer specifications.
- Once all connections are made, the system is tested to ensure proper functionality.
- Adjustments may be made to airflow direction, temperature settings, and other parameters to optimize performance.
Testing and Commissioning:
- After installation, the technician performs thorough testing of the AC system to ensure it operates correctly.
- This includes checking for leaks in the refrigerant lines, verifying proper airflow and temperature control, and confirming that all components are functioning as intended.
- Any adjustments or fine-tuning necessary for optimal performance are made during this phase.
Demonstration and Handover:
- Once the installation is complete and the system has been tested, the technician provides a demonstration to the customer on how to operate the AC unit effectively.
- They may offer tips on maintenance, filter replacement, and troubleshooting common issues.
- Finally, the technician ensures that the customer is satisfied with the installation and addresses any questions or concerns they may have.
Cleanup and Disposal:
- After the installation is finished, the technician cleans up the work area, removing any debris or packaging materials generated during the process.
- If requested, they can assist with the proper disposal of the old AC unit and any related materials in an environmentally friendly manner.
